New physical therapy and rehabilitation to recover OPD patient and increase self -sufficiency in AIIMS Bilaspur

Bilaspur: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bilaspur has made a significant progress in comprehensive healthcare with the launch of new out patient department (OPD) services under the Physical Medical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department (PMR). This significant joint is ready to benefit patients suffering from disability, chronic pain and later upheaval, which empowers them to re-achieve freedom and a dignified life.

The PMR department specializes in restoring physical work in individuals recovering from paralysis, spinal cord injuries, joint disorders, post-accident trauma, developmental delays and old musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. With a strong attention to patient-focused care, the department adopts a multi-disciplinary approach to integrate physiotherapy, professional therapy, pain management, speech therapy and support technology to increase life recovery and quality.

OPD will work on room number B736, 4th floor, B-block from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. A dedicated team of doctors, physicians and technical experts will provide treatment plan and disability management solutions to patients of all ages, including children.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment to Amaims Bilaspur’s overall rehabilitation and inclusive care, enabling physically challenging individuals to live active and self -sufficient life. The public is encouraged to fully use new inaugural services and consult with the specialist team for special rehabilitation care.
