Ravi Kumar Iyer Inspires Students at NITTTR Chandigarh With India’s Global Achievements

NITTTR Chandigarh Hosts Insightful Session on Global Contributions of Indians by Author Ravi Kumar Iyer

Chandigarh, June 18:
The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, hosted a thought-provoking session on “Indians and Overseas Indians’ Contributions to the World in the 20th and 21st Centuries” on Wednesday. The keynote address was delivered by renowned author and social worker Sh. Ravi Kumar Iyer, who presented an evidence-based overview of India’s remarkable influence on global progress.

During the session, Iyer highlighted India’s wide-ranging contributions to fields such as science, defense, space exploration, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, electronics, IT & ITES, digital payments (UPI), and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that many of these achievements remain under-recognized globally and called upon students and faculty to work towards bringing India the recognition it truly deserves.

He outlined what he called the “Five I’s”Innovations, Institutions, Infrastructure, Individuals, and Inspirations—as the pillars that will shape India’s journey towards becoming a global leader in the modern era.

Addressing the attendees, Prof. B. R. Gurjar, Director of NITTTR Chandigarh, expressed strong belief in the capabilities of Indians and their growing impact on shaping the world’s future. “Our nation’s strength lies in its people. With the right vision and determination, Indians can lead the world across sectors,” he stated.

The session witnessed active participation from faculty members, officers, staff, and students, who were inspired by the compelling insights and call to action presented during the event.
